Chandel is an independent singer, songwriter, music producer, and recording artist whose sound is defined by its ethereal tone, emotional authenticity, and radiant artistic identity. She first emerged under the name Chandy, gaining early recognition with her song Fashion, which was featured on the VH1 series The Consignment Shop. This placement introduced her distinctive voice and artistic presence to a wider audience and marked the beginning of her evolving creative journey. Chandel’s artistic foundation was shaped through her studies at Xavier University of Louisiana and later at Louisiana State University (LSU), where she refined her musicianship, performance ability, and storytelling sensibilities.
In the years that followed, Chandel stepped away from music to focus on healing, self-discovery, and personal alignment. During this transformative period, she embraced authenticity, stillness, and emotional renewal—cultivating a life rooted in love, light, and inner awakening. This evolution profoundly reshaped her creative voice, adding spiritual resonance to her work.
In 2020, she made a pivotal decision to return to voice training, taking vocal lessons once again to deepen her technique and expand her expressive range. During this time, she further developed her ability to communicate storytelling through singing, refining the emotional nuance, phrasing, and interpretive depth that now define her artistry.
Returning in 2025, Chandel reintroduced herself with new music, including Peace and Carpe Diem. These releases reflect her artistic rebirth, blending introspective lyricism with atmospheric production and a refined, dreamlike vocal presence. Her music now lives in a space that feels almost luminescent—elegant, emotionally immersive, and textured with feeling.
